Our work ranges from kitchen tools and gadgets through to fridges, freezers, bathroom furniture, sanitary ware and showers.

Pyrex
As part of their programme to expand their well-known brand into new cookware sectors, Pyrex asked Goodwin to help develop a range of saucepans for the European market. The pans (top left) feature captive lids for safer straining, and soft-grip handles that can be removed for easy storage. Our research into manufacturing options led to the range being designed in both aluminium and stainless steel at different price points.

KUKU
For KUKU, we designed a range of stainless-steel and nylon kitchen tools and gadgets with soft-touch grips and interchangeable colours (middle left). The ranges are sold in both Europe and the US.

Lec
Goodwin Product Design has been involved in developing fridges and freezers for this well-known UK manufacturer.

Petmate
Goodwin designed this ingenious pond filter (bottom left) to end the messy weekly drudgery of stripping down and cleaning. By harnessing the pressure created by the pond pump and using a three-way valve to reverse the water flow, this self-cleaning unit squeezes dirt and sludge out of the filter and then flushes it away. The concept has been patented, and Goodwin have been asked back to design more of the Petmate filter range.

Steribottle
Over £3M has been invested in the new low cost, one-use baby feeding bottle. Our brief was to devise a solution which enables the consumer to buy 12 bottles for the original cost of 4 and we identified innovative moulding and packaging technologies to achieve the target.
